旁边:Next to

邮局在超市旁边:The post-office is next to the supermarket

公车站在餐馆旁边:The bus-stop is next to the restaurant

Grammar note 1:

( ) 在 ( ) 旁边。(Something) is next to (something)

挨着:Another way to say “next to”

Grammar note 2:

( ) 挨着 ( )

( ) 和 ( )挨着

They both mean ( ) is next to the ( ).

Examples:

超市挨着邮局 or 超市和邮局挨着 The supermarket is next to the post-office

我和你挨着:I am next to you

银行在图书馆和公车站中间:The bank is between the library and the bus-stop

Grammar note 3:

(A) 在 (B) 和(C)中间: (A) is between (B) and (C)

Example:
